National 4-H Council and EMI Music are producing a country music compilation CD called Clover Country--Songs From Famous 4-H Alumni. This innovative project, never before seen in 4-H's history, includes 11 hit songs from confirmed 4-H alumni who are all country music superstars. Artists include: Alabama, Luke Bryan, Glen Campbell, Johnny Cash, Vince Gill, Faith Hill, Martina McBride, Reba McEntire, Dolly Parton, Sugarland, and Grammy-award winning songwriter Hillary Lindsey---who recently recorded her new song "The Clown" just for Clover Country!
Bo Ryles, Georgia State 4-H leader and National 4-H Council board of trustee, lent a creative hand as he was invited by Hillary to sing backup vocals.

Nevada State News
|
When the war started in Iraq in 2004, many Nevada Army Guard and Army Reserve families waited anxiously to hear if their loved ones were next to be called up and shipped overseas to defend the country in the global war against terrorism.
Four years later, those families still face the same possibilities, leaving their children confused, worried and troubled.
Now, with 4-H in 17 Nevada counties teaming up with a new youth program, military children can participate in fun, diverse activities including animal science, shooting sports, after school programs, leadership camps, Cloverbuds and 4-H camp at Lake Tahoe.
